How It Works

When your cat exits the litter box, loose litter can stick to their paws and fall onto the floor. The PetSafe litter mat provides a textured collection surface directly outside the litter box.

The mesh and deep-groove pattern catches the loose litter rather than allowing it to spread across the surrounding floor. The captured litter can then be easily shaken off or vacuumed away.

Waterproof Backing

The mat features a double-layer backing that provides waterproof protection for your flooring. This helps protect the area underneath the litter box from moisture and accidental messes while also making the mat suitable for use on a variety of floor surfaces.

Suitable For

The medium mat is suitable for:

• ScoopFree litter boxes

• Other PetSafe litter boxes

• Clay litter

• Crystal litter

• Alternative litter types

• Single- and multi-cat households

PetSafe states that its cat litter mats are compatible with all PetSafe brand litter boxes, although the Simply Clean Automatic Litter Box requires the large mat size.

Cleaning

Cleaning is simple and requires no special products. Lift the mat away from the litter box and either:

• Shake loose litter from the surface.

• Vacuum the mat using a suitable vacuum attachment.

This makes regular maintenance quick and helps keep the litter area looking tidy.
