API AQUA ESSENTIAL is a highly concentrated all-in-one water conditioner that instantly makes tap water safe for fish by removing chlorine, chloramines, and detoxifying heavy metals commonly found in tap water.

Detoxifies Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate

• Instantly binds toxic ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate in freshwater, saltwater, and planted aquariums

• Reduces stress and protects fish from harmful buildup caused by gills, urine, waste, uneaten food, and decaying organic matter

• Supports biofilter efficiency by rendering these toxins non-toxic

When to Use

• At aquarium start-up

• When adding or changing water

• When ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate levels are high

• Recommended with API STRESS COAT™ for adding, transporting, or quarantining fish

Instructions for Use

• Treat tap water: Add 5 mL per 189 L of aquarium water

• Remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate: Add 5 mL per 38 L of aquarium water

• Wait 24 hours after dosing before performing a water change for optimal results

• Safe to dose within 24 hours; follow-up water changes are beneficial

Duration and Effectiveness

• Reduces ammonia by 20–40 ppm, nitrite by 15–30 ppm, and nitrate by 40–60 ppm per 5 mL/10 gal dose
