AquaOne Aqua One Ammonia Pad is a tightly woven filter pad designed to help neutralize toxic ammonia (NH3) in aquarium water. Ammonia is produced naturally in aquariums through fish respiration, excess food, faecal matter, and urea. High ammonia levels are extremely toxic, reduce oxygen levels, and place fish under severe stress.

The Ammonia Pad helps maintain optimum water quality as a preventative or short-term treatment. It does not replace regular aquarium maintenance and should not be relied upon for prolonged high ammonia concentrations. Depending on ammonia levels, replace the pad every 4-6 weeks, or more frequently in high concentrations, as saturated pores may release collected waste back into the aquarium. The pad can be cut to fit any filtration system and works alongside your existing filter to improve water conditions.

Size Guide

Directions

1. Remove from packaging and cut to size with scissors.

2. Place old filter pad on top of the new pad and cut slightly larger to allow for distortion.

3. Ensure proper fit and trim if necessary.

4. Rinse in tap water to remove dust before placing in filter.

5. Replace every 4-6 weeks or more frequently with high ammonia levels.

6. Store in original packaging to keep clean and dry.
