Aqua One Sponge – AquaNano 25 35ppi

25077S

The Aqua One Sponge – AquaNano 25 35ppi is a replacement filter sponge designed for compatible AquaNano 25 aquarium filtration systems. The sponge provides mechanical filtration by trapping suspended particles and debris as aquarium water passes through the filter.

With a 35 PPI (pores per inch) density, the sponge provides a balance between water flow and particle filtration, making it suitable for routine aquarium filtration and maintenance.

Key Features

• Genuine Aqua One replacement filter sponge
• Designed for AquaNano 25 filtration systems
• 35 PPI sponge density
• Provides mechanical filtration
• Helps trap suspended particles and aquarium debris
• Supports clear and clean aquarium water
• Designed for easy replacement and routine filter maintenance

How It Works

As aquarium water passes through the sponge, suspended particles and debris become trapped within the sponge material. This helps reduce particulate matter circulating through the aquarium while allowing water to continue flowing through the filter.

Regular inspection and cleaning can help maintain suitable water flow through the filter.

Maintenance

Rinse the sponge using removed aquarium water during routine water changes to help remove accumulated debris while being gentler on beneficial bacteria living within the filter media.

Avoid replacing all biological filter media at the same time unless required, as established filter media can contain beneficial bacteria that contribute to the aquarium’s biological filtration.
