Product Description

The Aqua One Self Cut Black Sponge 15PPI is a versatile filter sponge designed to provide effective mechanical and biological filtration for aquariums and ponds. Measuring 32 x 20 x 3cm, this sponge can be easily cut to fit your filtration system, making it ideal for replacement filter media and custom filtration setups.

With a coarse density of 15 pores per inch (PPI), the sponge helps trap larger waste particles while allowing water to flow through freely. Its porous structure also provides a surface for beneficial bacteria to colonise, supporting biological filtration and helping maintain healthy aquarium water conditions.

Durable, washable and reusable, this black filter sponge is suitable for freshwater, tropical, coldwater and marine aquariums, as well as pond filtration systems. It can be used in a variety of filters, including canister, hang-on, internal, overhead and trickle filters.
