Aristopet® All Wormer for Dogs & Puppies is a broad-spectrum oral worming treatment designed to control 11 common gastrointestinal worms in dogs and puppies. It covers roundworms, hookworms, whipworm and tapeworms, including hydatid tapeworm. The product is available in a 4-tablet pack.

Worms Treated

Aristopet All Wormer for Dogs & Puppies treats 11 gastrointestinal worm species, including:

• Roundworms: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina

• Hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala

• Whipworm: Trichuris vulpis

• Tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia ovis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis

• Hydatid tapeworm: Echinococcus granulosus

How to Give

The correct number of tablets depends on the dog’s bodyweight, so weigh your dog accurately before treatment to avoid underdosing.

• Give the required dose orally.

• Follow the product’s weight-based dosing instructions.

• The manufacturer specifically stresses accurate weighing to ensure effective treatment.

• Do not use this product in puppies under 2 weeks of age.

Puppy Worming Schedule

Aristopet recommends:

• 2 weeks: worm

• 4 weeks: worm

• 8 weeks: worm

• 12 weeks: worm

• After 12 weeks: generally every 3 months for roundworm and hookworm control.

Aristopet’s puppy guidance also recommends worming every two weeks until 12 weeks, then monthly until 6 months, followed by an adult schedule of every three months.

Because the appropriate schedule can vary with the parasite risk and the dog’s circumstances, follow the product label and veterinary advice.

Whipworm Control

For whipworm, Aristopet recommends treatment every 6–8 weeks after 3 months of age.

Tapeworm & Hydatid Tapeworm

For other tapeworms, treatment is generally recommended every 3 months.

In areas where hydatid tapeworm is a concern, Aristopet recommends treatment every 6 weeks. Dogs should also be prevented from eating raw offal from any species, as this can contribute to hydatid infection.

Pregnant Dogs

The manufacturer recommends treatment of pregnant bitches at mating, before whelping and then every 3 months. If a worm problem persists despite treatment, veterinary advice should be sought.

Flea Control

Flea control is an important part of tapeworm management. Dipylidium caninum can be transmitted when a dog swallows an infected flea while grooming.

For this reason, Aristopet recommends combining regular worming with appropriate flea control.

Important Precautions

• For dogs and puppies only.

• Suitable for puppies over 2 weeks of age.

• Weigh the dog accurately before dosing.
