Diet:

• Primary Food:
  • Algae & Spirulina Wafers: Best to feed algae or spirulina wafers once or twice daily.
  • Vegetables: Offer occasional treats like zucchini slices, blanched romaine lettuce, or spinach.
  • Supplementary Foods: Granules, flakes, or bloodworms can also be included.
• Feeding Frequency:
  • Algae Wafers: Once or twice a week.
  • Vegetables: Every 24 hours.
• Feeding Tips: Avoid overfeeding. Well-fed Bristlenose Plecos exhibit good coloration. They also forage through the substrate for algae and detritus, helping to keep the tank clean.

• Temperature: 21 – 27°C (ideal range: 22 – 28°C)
• Minimum Tank Size: 60 liters
• pH Range: 6.2 – 7.2
• Environment: Prefers a planted tank with high aeration and good water movement. They are not true plecostomus but are popular for their algae-eating habits and small size.
