JBL PROPOND GOLDFISH is designed as all-season food so that it can be fed in all four seasons. The protein/fat ratio therefore represents a compromise. If the seasons are extremely pronounced in your region, you can choose a food specially adapted to the seasons for your goldfish from the JBL PROPOND koi foods in the seasonal food concept range. Please remember that food size is important, so that it can be properly absorbed by your goldfish. The 3:1 protein/fat ratio of the food helps cover the high energy metabolism of your animals without them having to draw on their energy reserves. This leaves them with enough energy to stay resistant to diseases etc.
