Neovela® for Dogs 2.6–5 kg is a monthly topical flea and worm treatment containing selamectin. It is designed for small dogs and provides protection against fleas, heartworm and several common internal and external parasites.

Each pack contains 3 single-dose pipettes, providing approximately 3 months of treatment when administered once monthly.

Active Ingredient

Selamectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic that is absorbed through the skin following topical application. It works against susceptible external parasites as well as certain internal parasites.

What Does Neovela Treat?

Neovela for Dogs 2.6–5 kg provides control of:

• Adult fleas

• Flea eggs and larvae

• Heartworm prevention

• Flea allergy dermatitis, as part of effective flea control

Please note: Neovela does not provide tick protection or tapeworm treatment, so a separate treatment may be needed for these parasites.

How to Apply

For dogs weighing 2.6–5 kg, use one complete pipette intended for this weight range.

1. Remove one pipette from the packaging.

2. Open the pipette according to the product instructions.

3. Have the dog standing.

4. Part the hair at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.

5. Place the pipette tip directly against the skin.

6. Apply the entire contents directly onto the skin.

7. Do not rub or massage the product into the coat.

8. Prevent the dog from licking the application site until dry.

9. Repeat every month.

Do not split or share a pipette between animals.

Flea Control

Selamectin kills adult fleas and helps control flea eggs and larvae, interrupting the flea life cycle. Regular monthly application helps prevent reinfestation and can assist in managing flea allergy dermatitis.

Heartworm Protection

When administered monthly as directed, Neovela provides heartworm prevention. Maintaining the monthly treatment schedule is important to avoid gaps in protection.

Puppies

This formulation is suitable for dogs in the 2.6–5 kg weight range. Growing puppies should be weighed regularly because they may move into a different weight category as they grow.

Bathing & Water

Allow the application site to dry completely after treatment. Follow the current product label for specific instructions concerning bathing or shampooing after application.

Important Precautions

• Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin.

• Avoid the eyes and mouth.
