NexGard Spectra is a monthly chew that provides comprehensive protection against fleas, ticks, mites, and intestinal worms. It’s ideal for puppies that are growing quickly, thanks to its monthly dosing schedule, and is safe to use from just 8 weeks of age and 2 kg in weight.

As an oral treatment, NexGard Spectra is rapidly absorbed and begins working quickly to relieve discomfort caused by parasites. In clinical studies, it killed 100% of existing fleas within 6 hours and over 98.5% of new fleas within 12 hours, providing full protection for a month. It can be given with or without food and is not affected by bathing or swimming. You can safely handle your dog immediately after treatment.

NexGard Spectra also treats roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Like most wormers, it eliminates only those present at the time of treatment. Dogs can pick up new infections easily, which is why monthly deworming is recommended. Roundworms in particular can begin shedding eggs within weeks and pose a risk to humans, especially children, making regular treatment essential.

Fleas can reappear from the environment or after contact with untreated animals. NexGard Spectra kills fleas before they can lay viable eggs, helping to break the life cycle. As fleas die, they may move to the ends of the coat, making them more visible before they fall off.
