Description
NexGard Spectra is a monthly chewable that offers complete protection against a broad range of parasites, including fleas, ticks, mites, and common intestinal worms. It’s ideal for growing puppies due to its monthly dosage and is safe for use from 8 weeks of age and a minimum weight of 2 kg.

As an oral treatment, NexGard Spectra is absorbed quickly and begins working fast. In clinical studies, it killed 100% of existing fleas within 6 hours and over 98.5% of newly acquired fleas within 12 hours, offering continuous protection for a full month. The chew can be given with or without food and remains effective after swimming or bathing. It’s also safe for immediate contact with your dog following treatment.

The treatment also targets roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Like most dewormers, it kills only the worms present at the time of treatment, so monthly use is essential to prevent reinfection. Roundworms are particularly important to guard against, as they can start shedding eggs within weeks and pose a risk to human health. Regular deworming helps reduce this zoonotic risk.

Fleas can continue to reappear due to environmental exposure or contact with untreated animals. NexGard Spectra kills new fleas before they can lay viable eggs, helping to break the flea life cycle.
