NexGard Spectra is a monthly oral chew that provides complete protection against a wide range of internal and external parasites. It’s ideal for growing puppies thanks to its monthly dosing schedule and is safe to use from 8 weeks of age and a minimum weight of 2 kg.

This fast-acting treatment contains afoxolaner, which quickly kills adult fleas and ticks, and milbemycin oxime, which targets roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. In clinical studies, NexGard Spectra eliminated 100% of existing fleas within 6 hours and over 98.5% of new infestations within 12 hours — providing a full month of protection.

As an oral treatment, NexGard Spectra is unaffected by water — so bathing or swimming won’t reduce its effectiveness. It can be given with or without food, and your dog can be handled as usual right after dosing.

It’s important to treat monthly, especially for intestinal worms. Only worms present at the time of treatment are killed, and reinfection can happen quickly. Regular deworming helps protect your dog — and your family — from zoonotic risks, particularly from roundworms.

Flea reinfestation can occur through newly hatched fleas in the environment or contact with other animals. NexGard Spectra kills fleas before they lay viable eggs, breaking the cycle. As fleas die, they may move from the skin to the surface of the coat, making them more visible.
