How It Works

The FroliCat BOLT projects a small laser light onto the floor, walls or other suitable surfaces. In automatic mode, the toy creates constantly changing laser movements designed to imitate the unpredictable movement of prey.

For interactive play, the owner can switch to manual mode and use the device to direct the laser wherever desired. This allows you to control the speed and direction of the game and interact directly with your pet.

The built-in timer automatically stops the toy after the designated play period, after which another session can be started manually.

Benefits for Pets

Regular play can provide useful physical exercise and mental stimulation, particularly for indoor cats. Chasing the moving laser encourages pets to walk, run, jump and pounce while engaging their natural prey-chasing instincts.

The BOLT can be particularly useful for owners looking for a toy that provides entertainment when they are busy, while manual mode allows for additional owner-and-pet interaction.

Adjustable Laser Direction

The BOLT features an adjustable mirror that allows the laser to be directed onto different surfaces. By changing the mirror position, you can vary where the laser appears and create different play areas.

For safety, the laser should never be directed directly into your pet’s eyes or the eyes of people.

Automatic & Manual Modes

The two operating modes provide flexibility:

• Automatic mode: The BOLT creates moving laser patterns without requiring you to control it continuously.

• Manual mode: You control the laser direction yourself for interactive play.

This combination makes it suitable for both independent play and supervised playtime.

Safety

Laser toys should always be used responsibly. Avoid shining the laser directly into the eyes of your pet or another person. It is also beneficial to occasionally finish laser play with a physical toy or treat that your pet can actually catch, helping provide a more satisfying end to the hunting sequence.

Pets should be supervised during play, particularly if they are prone to chewing or knocking over electronic toys.
