How It Works

The receiver collar detects the signal from the buried boundary wire of your compatible PetSafe in-ground fence system.

As your dog approaches the boundary, the receiver provides an audible warning tone. If your dog continues into the correction zone, the collar delivers the selected static correction to encourage your dog to return to the safe area.

The tone-only mode can be used during initial boundary training, helping your dog learn where the boundaries are before static correction is introduced.

Rechargeable Convenience

The built-in rechargeable battery can be charged in approximately 2–3 hours. Depending on how often your dog approaches the boundary, a full charge can last up to 2 months. A low-battery indicator helps you know when it’s time to recharge.

Waterproof Outdoor Design

The receiver collar is waterproof and designed for outdoor use, allowing your dog to enjoy the yard in a range of weather conditions. The receiver itself is designed to remain protected from water during normal outdoor activities.

Multiple-Pet Capability

One of the biggest advantages of an extra receiver collar is the ability to add another dog to your existing PetSafe containment system. Additional compatible receiver collars can be purchased for other pets, allowing multiple dogs to share the same designated boundary.

Compatibility

It is not compatible with PetSafe Wireless Fence systems, YardMax®, UltraSmart® or Innotek® systems. Always check your existing transmitter model before purchasing.
