The lightweight receiver detects the signal from the buried boundary wire and alerts your dog when they approach the boundary. With adjustable correction levels and a tone-only training mode, you can select an appropriate setting for your dog’s training needs.

How It Works

The receiver collar communicates with the signal generated by your PetSafe in-ground fence transmitter through the buried boundary wire.

As your dog approaches the boundary, the collar enters the warning zone and provides an audible tone. If your dog continues toward or into the correction zone, the receiver delivers the selected static correction to encourage your dog to return to the designated pet area.

The system is designed to be used together with proper boundary training. PetSafe recommends training your dog gradually so they understand the warning signs and learn where their safe area ends.

Adjustable Training Options

The collar offers four levels of static correction, allowing the setting to be adjusted according to your dog’s temperament and training response. A tone-only mode is also available for training and boundary awareness.

For dogs with longer or thicker coats, longer contact points may be used to ensure appropriate contact with the receiver.

Waterproof for Outdoor Use

The receiver collar is designed for outdoor environments and is waterproof, making it suitable for dogs that enjoy spending time in the garden or yard. The waterproof design also helps protect the receiver during wet weather.
