Boundary Warning & Correction

The transmitter sends a radio signal through the buried boundary wire. As the pet approaches the boundary, the receiver collar gives a warning tone. If the pet continues toward the boundary, the collar provides adjustable static stimulation to encourage the pet to remain within the designated area.

The collar provides:

• 4 adjustable static stimulation levels
• Tone-only mode for training
• Over-stimulation protection — stimulation stops after 15 seconds

Multi-Pet Capability

Installation

The system is designed as a DIY installation, generally taking around 1–2 days depending on the property and installation conditions. The boundary wire is positioned around the desired pet area and connected to the transmitter. Training flags are then used to help the pet learn the boundary.

Important: Proper training is an essential part of using an in-ground containment system. PetSafe provides a staged training programme to help pets learn the boundary gradually.
