How It Works

After your cat uses the litter box, built-in motion sensors detect when your cat has left. The system then waits approximately 10 minutes before automatically activating the rake.

The metal rake moves through the litter, collecting urine clumps and solid waste. The waste is pushed into the covered waste bin, leaving the remaining litter ready for your cat’s next visit.

If you need to clean the box sooner, a manual rake button lets you start a cleaning cycle without waiting for the automatic timer.

Compatible Litter

One of the main advantages of the Clumping model is its flexibility with litter. It works with clumping litter and most other litter types, so you don’t have to switch your cat to a proprietary disposable crystal tray system. PetSafe notes that the system works best with clumping litter or ScoopFree Premium Crystal Litter.

Odour Control

The waste is automatically moved into a covered waste bin, keeping used litter clumps contained and out of sight.

Kittens
