Petsafe Staywell Large Pet Door – White

The PetSafe Staywell Large Pet Door – White is a durable manual pet door designed to give large cats and dogs independent access between indoor and outdoor areas. It features a flexible, transparent flap and a 4-way locking system, allowing you to control when your pet can enter or leave the home.

Its classic white finish provides a clean appearance, while the robust construction is designed for regular everyday use.

Key Features

• Large-size pet door – Provides a spacious opening for larger pets.

• 4-way locking system – Choose from open, locked, entry-only or exit-only access.

• Flexible transparent flap – Allows pets to push through easily while providing visibility.

• Manual access control – No batteries, electronics or pet collar are required.

• Durable construction – Designed for regular indoor/outdoor use.

• White finish – Neutral colour that suits most doors and home interiors.

• Weather protection – The flap helps reduce drafts and outdoor air entering the home.

• Replaceable flap – A replacement flap can be fitted when the original becomes worn or damaged.

• Suitable for large pets – Provides a larger passage than the Small and Medium Staywell models.

• Independent pet access – Lets your pet go outside and return without requiring you to open the door.

4-Way Locking System

The Staywell Large Pet Door provides four access settings:

1. Open – Your pet can enter and exit freely.

2. Locked – Prevents your pet from entering or leaving.

3. Entry only – Allows your pet to come inside but prevents them from going back outside.

4. Exit only – Allows your pet to leave but prevents re-entry.

This is particularly useful when you want to control outdoor access at night, during bad weather or when your pet needs to remain indoors.

Flap Design

The transparent flexible flap provides a comfortable passage for your pet and allows them to see through the opening. It swings when pushed and returns toward the closed position after use.

The flap is replaceable, meaning you can maintain the pet door over time without replacing the complete frame.

Suitable Pets

The Large version is intended for larger dogs and cats. Before installation, measure your pet’s body width and height to ensure the flap opening provides enough clearance.

The pet should be able to pass through comfortably without forcing its shoulders through the opening.

Installation

The Staywell Large Pet Door can be installed into suitable doors and compatible surfaces. Depending on the installation location and door construction, additional accessories may be required.

For glass, double glazing or certain wall installations, an appropriate PetSafe installation adaptor or professional installation may be necessary.

Always use the supplied installation template and carefully check measurements before cutting the installation opening.
