Petsafe The Pet Loo – Large (Original)

The PetSafe The Pet Loo – Large (Original) is a reusable indoor and outdoor pet toilet designed primarily for large dogs. It provides a dedicated grass-like toileting area where urine drains through the synthetic grass into a removable collection tray underneath.

The Pet Loo is a practical solution for households where dogs cannot always get outside, including puppy training, apartment living, overnight toileting, bad weather, balconies and homes with limited outdoor access.

Key Features

• Large toileting area – Provides extra space for larger dogs to comfortably use the toilet.

• Synthetic grass surface – Gives dogs a familiar grass-like surface that encourages natural toileting behaviour.

• Effective drainage system – Urine passes through the synthetic grass and collects in the tray underneath.

• Removable collection tray – Can be easily removed, emptied and cleaned.

• Reusable design – Designed for repeated use, reducing reliance on disposable puppy pads.

• No disposable pads required – Helps reduce waste and ongoing replacement costs.

• Indoor and outdoor use – Can be positioned inside the home or in a suitable outdoor area.

• Ideal for large dogs – The larger surface provides more room for bigger breeds.

• Useful for puppies – Can be used as part of a structured house-training routine.

• Convenient for apartments – Provides a dedicated toilet area where access to a garden is limited.

• Suitable for overnight use – Allows dogs to relieve themselves without requiring a late-night outdoor trip.

• Easy to clean – Synthetic grass and collection tray can be cleaned separately.

• Compatible with Wee Care – PetSafe Wee Care Enzyme Cleaning Solution can be used to help remove urine residue and control odours.

How It Works

The Pet Loo uses a simple synthetic grass and collection tray system.

When your dog urinates on the grass, the liquid drains through the synthetic grass and collects in the removable tray underneath. Solid waste remains on the grass and can be picked up manually.

The tray can then be removed and emptied, while the grass can be rinsed and cleaned. This allows the entire toilet to be reused repeatedly.

Synthetic Grass Surface

The synthetic grass is designed to provide a natural-feeling toilet surface for dogs. Its open structure allows urine to drain through instead of remaining on the surface.

The grass can be rinsed regularly and cleaned with an appropriate pet-safe cleaning solution to help maintain hygiene and reduce odours.

Suitable Uses

The Large Pet Loo is particularly useful for:

• Large and extra-large dogs

• Puppy toilet training

• Indoor toileting

• Apartment living

• Overnight use

• Bad weather

• Balconies and patios

• Homes without convenient garden access

• Dogs recovering from situations where outdoor access is restricted

• Older dogs requiring easier toilet access

• Temporary indoor toileting during travel

Cleaning & Maintenance

For best hygiene and odour control:

• Remove solid waste promptly.

• Empty the collection tray regularly.

• Rinse the synthetic grass with water.

• Clean the tray separately.

• Use PetSafe Wee Care Enzyme Cleaning Solution for urine residue and odour control.

• Allow the grass and tray to dry before reassembling when practical.

The required cleaning frequency depends on the dog’s size, number of pets using the system and frequency of use.
