Serpae Tetras are small, schooling freshwater fish known for their vibrant red coloration. They thrive in groups of six or more, adding activity and color to community aquariums.

Tank Mates

• Other Serpae Tetras (schooling)

• Fast-moving fish: Barbs, Danios, larger Tetras

• Bottom-dwellers: Loaches, Corydoras catfish

• Peaceful species: Neon Tetras, Rummy Nose Tetras, Dwarf Gouramis

• Avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish like Angelfish or Bettas to prevent fin nipping

Water Conditions

• Temperature: 72–79°F (22–26°C)

• pH: 5.0–7.5

• Hardness: 4–18 dGH

• Sensitive to water fluctuations, requiring stable and clean water
