Topflite Bug, Bee and Butterfly House

Build biodiversity into your backyard by providing a safe shelter for insects and pollinators. The nooks, crannies and corners are perfectly suited for reclusive wēta, native bees and beetles. In return, they’ll prey on smaller garden pests and act as a food source for native birds.

Place your Bug, Bee & Butterfly House in a protected area out of direct sunlight.  To increase the likelihood of bugs settling in, we recommend placing your House in a damp location close to fallen leaves, weeds or piles of wood.  Note that bamboo is a natural material so it will deteriorate over time.  To prolong the lifespan of the bamboo, apply a thin layer of beeswax to provide extra protection against the elements.
