Compatibility:

• Tank Mates: Peaceful fish that do well with other small, non-nippy tankmates. They should not be kept with larger fish, as they may become prey. They are not suitable companions for goldfish despite the similar temperature preferences, as goldfish can eat them.
• Shoal Size: Keep in groups of 6 or more to ensure they display their natural behavior and maintain their coloration. When kept singly, they tend to hide and lose their vibrant colors.

Diet:

• Food: They eat a variety of foods including live, frozen, and flake options. Their diet in the wild consists mainly of insects, so they particularly enjoy mosquito larvae, daphnia, and brine shrimp. Offer a balanced diet with a mix of dry and frozen foods and live foods when possible.
