The Aqua One IFXE 100 Internal Filter is a compact, fully submersible aquarium filter designed for aquariums up to 100 litres. It combines mechanical, chemical and biological filtration to help maintain clean, healthy water for your fish.

With a maximum flow rate of 350 litres per hour, the IFXE 100 helps circulate aquarium water while its black sponge captures suspended debris and provides a surface for beneficial bacteria to grow. The activated carbon cartridge helps absorb dissolved impurities, supporting better water quality.

The filter features a space-saving design and flexible outlet options, allowing you to choose between a duckbill outlet with Venturi aeration or a spray bar for distributing water across the aquarium. The included airline and silencer help reduce noise when using the Venturi setup.

Installation and Maintenance

1. Secure the filter inside the aquarium using the supplied suction cups.

2. Choose the duckbill outlet or spray bar arrangement to suit your aquarium.

3. Install the airline and Venturi attachment according to the manufacturer’s instructions if aeration is required.

4. Clean the sponge gently in removed aquarium water to help preserve beneficial bacteria.

5. Check the intake and impeller regularly for debris.

6. Replace the carbon cartridge and sponge when required, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Maintenance tip: Avoid rinsing established biological filter media in untreated tap water, as chlorine and chloramine may harm beneficial bacteria.
