Product Description

The PetSafe ScoopFree Premium Fresh Crystal Litter – 3.6 kg is a highly absorbent crystal cat litter designed to provide long-lasting odour control while reducing dust, tracking and daily cleaning. • Fresh scent provides a light, clean fragrance.

• Rapid moisture absorption helps absorb urine quickly.

• Dries solid waste to help control unpleasant odours.

• Long-lasting – one 3.6 kg bag can last up to 2 months for one cat, depending on usage.

• Replaces up to 18 kg of traditional clay clumping litter, according to PetSafe.

• 99% dust-free formula helps reduce airborne dust and mess.

• Low tracking crystal size helps minimise litter being carried around the home.

• Suitable for any litter box, including traditional trays and compatible ScoopFree systems.

• Non-toxic and eco-friendly formula, according to PetSafe.

Odour Control

The crystal litter works differently from traditional clumping clay litter. Instead of forming clumps around urine, the crystals absorb moisture and dry solid waste, helping remove odours rather than simply covering them with fragrance.

The Fresh version also includes a light fresh scent for an additional clean-smelling environment.

Long-Lasting Performance

PetSafe states that a 3.6 kg bag can last up to two months in a single-cat household. The actual lifespan depends on factors such as the number of cats, litter-box usage, urine output and environmental humidity.

For automatic ScoopFree systems, PetSafe recommends using its Premium Crystal Litter rather than substituting clay, natural or other crystal litters.

Low Dust & Tracking

The litter is formulated to be 99% dust-free, helping create a cleaner litter-box area with less dust released when pouring or when your cat moves through the crystals.

The crystal size is also designed to provide a balance between absorption and reduced tracking, helping minimise the amount of litter carried away from the tray on your cat’s paws.

How to Use

For use in a standard or reusable litter tray:

1. Pour the crystal litter into the clean litter box.

2. PetSafe recommends approximately 5 cm / 2 inches of litter depth.

3. Scoop solid waste as required.

4. Stir the crystals regularly to distribute saturated crystals and extend litter life.

5. Replace the litter when its absorption performance decreases or odour control is no longer effective.

Compatibility

PetSafe lists this litter as compatible with any litter box, making it suitable for both conventional litter trays and compatible automatic litter systems.

For PetSafe ScoopFree self-cleaning systems, using the recommended ScoopFree Premium Crystal Litter is particularly important because the automatic rake and tray are designed around crystal-litter operation.
