Designed as an additional receiver for the PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence system, this compact and waterproof collar allows you to add another dog to your existing wireless containment setup.

The receiver works with the Stay + Play Wireless Fence transmitter to create a custom circular boundary around your property. As your dog approaches the boundary, the collar provides a warning tone followed by static correction if your dog continues toward the boundary.

How It Works

The PetSafe Stay + Play Extra Receiver communicates with the Stay + Play Wireless Fence transmitter.

The transmitter creates an adjustable circular boundary around its location. When your dog approaches the edge of the wireless containment area, the receiver collar provides a warning tone.

If your dog continues toward the boundary, the collar delivers the selected static correction to encourage your dog to return to the safe area.

The system is designed to provide a convenient alternative to traditional in-ground fence systems, making it particularly useful for properties where burying boundary wire is difficult or undesirable.

5 Levels of Static Correction

The receiver offers 5 adjustable static correction levels, allowing you to select a suitable setting for your dog’s temperament and training needs.

A tone-only mode is also available for initial boundary training. This allows your dog to learn the location of the wireless boundary before static correction is introduced.

Rechargeable Battery

The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 3 weeks of use per charge, depending on how frequently the collar is activated.

The receiver takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge, making it convenient for regular use. A low-battery indicator helps remind you when the receiver needs charging.

Waterproof Outdoor Design

The receiver is designed to be waterproof, allowing your dog to enjoy outdoor activities in normal wet-weather conditions.

Compatibility

This receiver is designed specifically as an additional receiver for compatible PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence systems.

It is not a complete wireless fence system and requires a compatible Stay + Play Wireless Fence transmitter to operate.

The transmitter establishes the wireless boundary, while the receiver collar worn by your dog detects the boundary signal and provides the appropriate warning or correction.

Important Note

The Stay + Play Extra Receiver is ideal for households with multiple dogs because additional compatible receivers can be paired with the same wireless fence transmitter. Each dog can therefore have its own receiver while sharing the same wireless containment area.

Safety & Usage

Proper boundary training is essential before allowing your dog to use the wireless containment system independently. Begin training using the tone-only mode and gradually introduce the appropriate correction level according to the manufacturer’s training instructions.

The receiver collar should be fitted securely but comfortably. Check your dog’s neck regularly for signs of irritation and remove the collar when it is not required.
