Petsafe The Pet Loo – Small

The PetSafe The Pet Loo – Small is an indoor and outdoor pet toilet designed to give small dogs and other suitable small pets a convenient place to relieve themselves without needing to go outside every time. It uses a synthetic grass surface that encourages pets to toilet naturally, while urine passes through the grass into a removable collection tray underneath.

It is particularly useful for apartment living, puppies, older pets, bad weather, overnight toileting and households where outdoor access is limited.

Key Features

• Indoor & outdoor pet toilet – Provides a dedicated toileting area inside or outside the home.

• Realistic synthetic grass – Mimics the feel of natural grass and encourages pets to use the toilet.

• Urine drainage system – Urine passes through the synthetic grass into the collection tray underneath.

• Removable waste tray – Makes emptying and cleaning the unit simple.

• Reusable design – Unlike disposable puppy pads, the Pet Loo can be washed and reused.

• No disposable pads required – Helps reduce ongoing waste and the need to continually purchase replacement pads.

• Ideal for small pets – The Small size is designed for smaller dogs and suitable small pets.

• Useful for puppies – Provides a designated toilet area during house training.

• Suitable for indoor use – Helpful for apartments, homes without immediate outdoor access and overnight use.

• Outdoor compatible – Can also be positioned on balconies, patios or other suitable outdoor areas.

• Easy to clean – Synthetic grass and tray can be removed and cleaned separately.

• Compatible with Wee Care – PetSafe’s Wee Care Enzyme Cleaning Solution can be used to help clean the grass and tray and control odours.

How It Works

The Pet Loo consists of a synthetic grass mat positioned over a collection tray. When your pet urinates on the grass, the liquid drains through the grass surface and collects in the tray below.

Solid waste remains on the grass and can be removed manually. The grass can then be rinsed or cleaned as required, while the collection tray can be emptied and washed.

This design separates urine from the pet’s toileting surface, helping make routine cleaning easier than traditional indoor toilet arrangements.

Synthetic Grass Surface

The artificial grass is designed to provide a familiar surface for pets that are accustomed to going on grass outdoors. Its open structure allows urine to pass through into the collection tray while leaving the grass surface available for subsequent use.

Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain hygiene and minimise odours.

Suitable Uses

The Small Pet Loo can be particularly useful for:

• Puppy toilet training

• Small dogs living in apartments

• Indoor toileting

• Overnight use

• Bad weather

• Owners with limited outdoor access

• Older or less-mobile pets

• Temporary indoor toileting during travel

Cleaning & Maintenance

For best results, clean the Pet Loo regularly.

• Remove solid waste from the grass.

• Empty the collection tray.

• Rinse the synthetic grass.

• Wash the collection tray with an appropriate pet-safe cleaner.

• Allow components to dry before reassembling.

• Use PetSafe Wee Care Enzyme Cleaning Solution to help break down urine residue and control odours.
