Seresto uses a unique combination of imidacloprid and flumethrin, which is gradually released from the collar and distributed over your dog’s skin and coat. The collar works through contact, helping kill fleas and ticks without requiring them to bite your dog first.

Active Ingredients

Imidacloprid – 100 mg/g

Helps control adult fleas, flea larvae and lice.

Flumethrin – 45 mg/g

Provides the tick-repelling and tick-killing action.

The active ingredients are incorporated into the collar and are continuously released at low levels onto the dog’s skin and coat.

Product Specifications

Directions for Use

1. Remove the collar from its protective packaging immediately before use.

2. Unroll the collar and remove any remaining plastic connectors.

3. Place the collar around your dog’s neck.

4. Thread the loose end through the loops/buckle.

5. Adjust the collar so that it fits comfortably against the dog’s neck.

6. You should be able to fit approximately two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck.

7. Secure the collar and trim the excess, leaving approximately 2 cm beyond the second loop.

8. Check the fit regularly, particularly for growing dogs.

The collar should remain in contact with the dog’s skin and coat for effective distribution of the active ingredients.

Water & Bathing

Seresto is designed to be water-resistant and can generally remain on your dog during normal exposure to rain or water.

However, frequent or prolonged swimming and repeated shampooing may reduce the duration of flea protection. Avoid unnecessary prolonged exposure to water.

Seresto Large Dog is intended for:

• Dogs over 8 kg

• Dogs from the minimum age specified on the NZ product label

• Dogs requiring long-lasting flea and tick protection

Do not use the large collar simply based on breed or age. Check your dog’s body weight and neck fit before application.

Important Safety Information

Keep out of reach of children.

Wash hands thoroughly with cold water after fitting the collar. People known to be sensitive to the active ingredients should avoid unnecessary contact with the collar.

Do not allow children to play with the collar.

If your dog experiences an unusual reaction after application, remove the collar and consult your veterinarian.

Environmental Precautions

The active ingredients are toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not dispose of the collar or packaging in ponds, streams, drains or other waterways.

Storage

Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.

Store below 30°C.

Keep away from children, food and animal feed until ready for use.
